Today's Purchases

Happy Friday! I'll probably post this on Saturday because I have been in the Trafford Centre all day and it was late when I came home so I wasn't able to get the pictures on with the post and I didn't really want to split it up again.

At the Trafford Centre I was in boots and I had a look at some of the nail varnishes, there was a particular colour I was looking for which was a pale blue, I found one called Mint Choc Chip in the 17 range and the offer was buy 1 get 1 half price so of course, I had to choose another one. I found a pale coral colour called Pretty in Peach which I loved too and that one was new in.

Mint Choc Chip & Pretty in Peach

I am wearing Mint Choc Chip now and I love it, I think they will both be perfect in summer because they are nice pastel colours. I am also very happy with how long they've stayed on because I hate when nail varnish starts to chip.

Hope you liked this weeks post, go to boots next time your out and get one of these nail varnishes before the offer ends, lots of lovely colours!

Have a lovely weekend

DIY Bottle Top Pin Badge

So as you know, from last weeks post, I do like badges quite a lot and I also think bottle tops are quite cute. I did my research and came across a step by step way to turn a bottle top into a badge. As you can imagine my excitement, that's what my blog post is going to be about.
The link to the website I found is at the bottom if you want to go and have a look at that.

So, here's my step by step way that I did mine. It is my first go so the final outcome is shocking but with practice they should improve.

You will need:

  • A bottle top
  • Can pull
  • Safety Pin
  • Pliers

1. Use your pliers to bend your Can pull and fit it inside the bottle top:

2. Use your pliers to bend over all around the edge of your bottle top so it looks like this:

3. Now get your safety pin and put it through the bend in the can pull.

4. Now turn your badge over and there you go. Mine ended up looking like this but I have much more attractive bottle tops that will make it look better.

Thank You for reading this far, I feel like I've rambled on...

Homework

Okay, well i know i missed last weeks post and im sorry but ive been so busy lately.
As me and Aoife are in Year 10 it means we have our GCSE exams soon we are getting piles of homework every week. So far today ive done English, French, Spanish, RE and Biology. My teachers have officially ruined my social life. To make the fact that this weekend has been horrible due to my homework i was told yesterday morning that i need glasses. Apparently im short sighted and one of my eyes is weaker than the other. Yay :/. Well, at least i made my dad by me Armani glasses which i'll get next week.
Well i hope you've had a lovely weekend and a nice last week at school before the half term.

Badge Bag Pictures

Badges pictures, my bag looks a strange shape because I have put a pillow in it so you can see it all properly, usually the tie around the top is pulled to make it less square and smaller on the top.

This is my bag, maybe you've counted the badges and thought, she said there was 29 and there's only 27. There's 1 on each side pocket, okay!

These two badges are two of my favourites, I got them from a craft fair that I went to by where I live.

I hope that you enjoyed reading this and you like my badge bag and maybe it's inspired you to start your own. Also, if you know any websites that they have some good badges on, please leave a comment below and let me know!

Badges

Happy Friday, again!

So I have this weird kind of obsession, you could call it, with badges. Any colour, any size, any shape etc...
I collect my badges and put them on my backpack. So far I have 29 on there and a few more I found still to go on.

I have posted this really late because I've been out but my pictures wont upload from the tablet. I'm going to post this now and see if they will upload tomorrow and I can go on the computer then.

I hope whoever is reading this has enjoyed it so far, have a lovely weekend and I'll see you on Sunday.
